Tourisme et Handicap

The Chinon Tourist Office is an accessible place for people with impaired mobility, hearing, visual and mental disabilities.

Wide doors and a ring at the entrance will guarantee an easy access.

The team will welcome you and will provide you with information and suggestions to enjoy your stay, and will help you with any specific need.

For your convenience, you will find accessible public toilets/restrooms near the Tourist Office.

114, urgence, handicap

Emergency service


In case of emergency, hearing impaired people or speaking with difficulty can call 114.

It is a free call for deaf or hard of hearing people, or suffering from aphasia or dysphasia, in order to contact the emergency services by SMS or by fax SAMU/Medical Help (15), Police-Gendarmerie/Police (17) or Sapeurs-Pompiers/Fire and Accident (18).
